Big Jack

We are very sad to report that Brenda's cat, "Big Jack", has passed away.  He was 15 years old, which is a long time to live for an outdoor cat, and his age finally caught up with him.  He died peacefully in Brenda's arms at the local animal hospital.
Jack was born in 1993 and was adopted from the Tacoma Humane Society by Brenda and her roommate Nancy, along with his brother Huffer.  Jack was named after one of  Nancy's older brothers.  The boys were soon discovered by the landlord and went to live with Brenda's mom and dad in Port Townsend.  They were reunited with Brenda in Corvallis, while she attended Oregon State.Huffer was hit by a car at the age of two, but Jack thrived, eventually living with Brenda in four different states and with many different housemates.  If any of you lived with Brenda in the last 15 years, you also lived with Jack.He was known to be cranky at times, but he could also be a snuggler.  He loved tuna fish, screen doors, and taking a swipe at Connor.  He was a good cat who lived a long and happy life, and he will be missed.
