More visitors! Chris's friends Maryann and Kathryn stopped in to see us on their way from Portsmouth to Deer Isle for vacation. They own a bookstore in Long Island, New York. They stayed overnight and enjoyed a nice pasta dinner and homemade peach pie with us. The girls had a good time showing them the cows, and reading the fun books that they brought.
What a wonderful vacation we had and a great opportunity to catch up with Chris and meet the family! As we can see from this beautiful blog, there's lots of fun happening on Garland Road and around. Great to have Chris back on the East Coast and in her beloved State of Maine, cookin', cannin' and brewin' up some wicked good cidah! Thanks to Brenda and Chris for your hospitality.
