We thought we'd get the word out about Kate's shiner before anybody starts accusing us of child abuse. This afternoon the girls were sledding together and had a big "wipe out" (Kate's term), and her face got bumped and scratched pretty good.
It's a little big hard to see in these photos, but we're thinking it may turn into a pretty impressive black eye. Sweet!
The amazing part of this story is that Chris reports that Kate did not cry at all after her wipe out, and went right back to sledding. If you know Kate, you know that is kind of amazing.
