Emily is ready for a "big girl bed", so tonight after dinner we headed over to Fortin's to check out their sale items. Fortin's is a local family-owned furniture and appliance store just down the road from us.
Of course Emily wanted a bunk bed, but Mama said "No way."
There were not a lot of people shopping at Fortin's on a Friday night, so we got plenty of attention. The sales manager, John, gave the girls little Serta stuffed sheep, which they immediately named Theodore (Emily's) and Bill (Kate's).
The girls thought the mattress showroom was super cool. All those beds to play on!
As you can see from the photo below, Kate insists on doing everything herself. She actually made it up onto this bed, believe it or not.
It took all the girls' willpower not to jump on the beds, but they managed to behave very nicely. 
We'll probably go back tomorrow and actually buy a bed, which is too bad because bed shopping is really fun, and the girls would like to do it more!
