First she helped find the beaters in the drawer....
....then she helped lay out all the ingredients. Kate wasn't really helping much, so Mama sent her out of the kitchen with some chocolate chips (yum!). Kate was quite happy with that.
Then Emily helped pour all the ingredients into the bowl.
Finally, with Mama's supervision, Emily got to turn on the mixer and adjust its speed using the controls.
Emily took a timeout to have a bath with Kate while the cookies were in the oven. Then came the best part: Snack time!
We think home made cookies are delicious!
