We were supposed to get a foot of snow today, and for awhile it looked like a real blizzard (notice the whiteout through the windows), but it faded out with only about 6 inches on the ground.
We were all a little disappointed (especially when the freezing rain started), but we tried to make the best of it.
The kids got to try out their storm goggles....
....the baby cows next door got to try out their winter coats....
....and we got to see our friendly plow guy again, when he came over to plow out the driveway.
When it comes to winter, we all believe that if it has to be cold, at least it better snow a lot. Hopefully the next storm will live up to our expectations!
We here in Yakima are jealous of your six inches! :)
ReplyDeleteIt has just been freezing cold here, down to 2 degrees or so at night with no snow forecasted soon.
