Trivia Night Round 3

Last night we headed back to the local brew pub to defend our Trivia title. We mixed up the team a little bit, playing with Amy & her husband Henning, and Tina, who has a son in Emily's preschool class. Tina's husband was supposed to join us too but had to cancel at the last minute. We knew it would be tough to defend the title with only five of us, but we were confident. We named our team "Four Moms and a Dad."
Right away Tina had some great answers. It turns out she majored in economics, so she was especially confident with the math questions.Amy and Henning both have scientific backgrounds, so they provided some great knowledge. Their favorite question was the one where we had to name five birds that start with the letter C. It's harder than it sounds after a few drinks!Brenda came through with the sports answers. She knew the name of the founder of baseball, and the number of national championships that the UNC men's basketball team now has.Chris (as always) provided critical team leadership, as well as her specialty, detailed geography knowledge. We felt good about our answers, and treated ourselves to some cheesecake while the numbers were being tallied. Yum!Unfortunately, mainly due to some sneaky "trick" questions, we weren't able to defend our title. But we all had a great time, which was the second goal of the evening.
