Tonight the differences between our two girls became apparent once again. After dinner we went up to the playroom, and Kate wanted to try on her new "Pixie" Halloween costume. Grandma helped her get into it.
Being a pixie made Kate so happy that she danced around and around the playroom.
Yes, the costume is a little bit too big and we will have to make a few adjustments, but the look on her face was priceless.
Meanwhile, Emily wanted to put on her helmet and hockey skates and walk around in them. The look on HER face was also priceless.
She's getting very good on her skates, and even practiced some fancy high-stepping.
Emily can't wait to get out on the ice and see what she can do.
That's our girls in a nutshell: A pixie and a skater.
