Tonight we went over to Winslow Elementary to watch some of our friends play soccer. Alison's team was playing Kent's team, and we figured that their moms and their younger siblings Luke and Jack would be there too. We were right!
It's always nice to hang out with other moms, especially when they are laid back about youth sports. No screaming at the ref from this crowd!
Emily brought pictures of her robot Halloween costume so she could show her friends. They all thought it looked pretty cool.
Kate watched some of the game, made a new friend, and munched on an apple.
Meanwhile, Kent....

....worked up a sweat on the field. The age group for this game was 6 & 7-year-olds, and there was no official score, but some of the parents were definitely tracking the performance of their team and their little Beckhams.
Meanwhile, the younger group was entertaining themselves on the sidelines.
Emily did a lot of running around with Luke, which hopefully means that she will sleep well tonight.
After the game was over Alison showed us her tough soccer pose....
....and Kate contemplated her future soccer career. Only 2-1/2 more years until she can sign up!
