Today was the much-anticipated arrival of Emily's new bed! The delivery men came from Fortin's in the morning and put the bed in her room, then Mama made it up with the new sheets and comforter that Em picked out last weekend.
We decided not to get a headboard yet (we'll let Emily pick one out when she's a little bit older), so it only has a metal frame, but Emily loves it! She couldn't wait for Mom to get home from work so she could show off her new bed. The wood paneling behind her is the door to the storage cubby in her room.
After showing off the new bed, the girls helped Mom take apart the crib and put it into storage.
Another milestone for Emily, and a reminder to us that they won't be little for too much longer.
