Emily and Kate love to put on their aprons and go to Home Depot. Tonight they actually got stopped by several people who asked them questions, playing along that they worked there. The girls didn't quite know what to say....
One of the things on our list was a replacement knob for moms' dresser. The girls enjoyed opening all of the knob cubbies. Every single one.
Usually when we go to Home Depot (if they have been good) the girls get to each pick out a color sample in the paint department to take home. Kate always picks some shade of pink, while Emily goes for blue or green.
Today they also grabbed some literature showing how they could paint their rooms in certain color schemes. Mom informed them that there would be no room-painting for a few years, at least. They were still pretty excited about it.
Then we were off, back out into the sunshine. It is so nice doing errands after dinner while it's still light out!
The "Uh..." looks on their faces in the first photo are hilarious. They're so cute!
