It's not quite as exciting as Emily's new bed, but we have decided to let Kate have a pillow in her crib. She is pretty excited about it, and tonight at bedtime I asked her to show me her new pillow. She was kind of shy at first.
Then she finally pointed it out. It's not quite her favorite color, but it's close!
Kate showed me how she curls up to sleep on it like a big girl. She has always preferred to sleep on her tummy.
This is Kate's perfect bedtime combination: pink jams, Lovey, pink blanket (thanks Terry and Johnnie!), her new pillow, and a book to read if she can't fall asleep right away.
