Yes, please! Do you cook them before you can them, so they are soft to eat for dinner? Or, are they raw in the cans? Do they stay really fresh and good?
Canning beans or carrots definitely gives them a different taste. A lot of folks freeze (beans, especially) rather than can. We have NO room in our freezer so we can. Basically you warm them up as they were cooked when you canned them. The texture is soft due to the canning.
