The kids like it when we do anything out of the ordinary. Tonight Mom had to replace Kate's bedroom window shade, so she got out the ladder, which for some reason was thrilling to the girls. They wanted to climb up and down, up and down. Over and over.
Maybe it was the fact that they were taller than Mom, or maybe it was just seeing the room with a new perspective, but it seemed like a real treat.
Emily could almost touch the ceiling! Who knew that a ladder could be so much fun?
