Emily brought home a marigold from preschool awhile back, and we've been growing it inside in a little peat pot. Yesterday Mama decided that the time was right to plant it in the garden.
Emily picked a spot right near the edge, and Mama dug a hole for her.
Then Em planted it herself, and carefully patted dirt all around it.
We hope it grows into a beautiful flower!
