Tonight we were somewhat desperate for a new craft project, so Mom thought hard and came up with.....paper crowns!
The girls were a little doubtful at first....
....but they really loved the finished products!
Sometimes its just the simple things that put a smile on their faces. Who knew a paper crown could be so fun?
The kids loved their crowns so much that they insisted on sharing the love and making one for Mama, who was busy cleaning the kitchen.
It looked great too!
Of course the crowns had to stay on all evening, through the dance party....
...and into snack time.
We're hoping they forget about them in the morning and don't insist on wearing them to school!
