This morning we wanted to do crafts, but the girls were getting bored with the same old stuff. Mom remembered a butterfly craft project that a friend had made with her son (thanks for the idea, E) and we decided to try it.
Mom drew the wing shapes on construction paper, then Emily cut hers out (Kate needed some help) and the girls glued parts of egg cartons to the wings.After that all we had to do was paint them....
....wait for them to dry....
...and then let them fly!
The kids really liked making something different today!
