Inside-Out Playground

After gymnastics class we decided to go to the Inside-Out Playground.  This is a place where the kids can play even in bad weather.  The girls had been here before, but it was the first time for grandma and grandpa.
The girls showed grandma and grandpa all the different rooms, and all the fun things to play with. It's a really great playground, with things to climb on, bounce on, ride, and slide down. Everything the girls want!

Today Emily discovered the tool bench, which she hadn't noticed on our previous visit. She did some drilling and hammering, just like mom.

Kate tried out one of the big tricycles...it looks like her legs aren't quite long enough for this one yet!Emily found a great hot wheels track.  She loved to watch the cars go around and around and shoot out the ramp at the bottom.

Kate, of course, likes to pretend she's driving.  In the photo below she is making her car sound.
We had the place to ourselves, even though it was really cold outside (about 20 degrees). What a fun place to play!
