Young Artists

Emily and Kate like to draw, and it doesn't matter if it's pens on the whiteboard, chalk on the chalkboard, or crayons on paper.  Lately Emily has been drawing faces in a kind of cubist style. She also draws boats representing Theodore, Hank, and others from the PBS show Theodore Tugboat, although you can't really tell that they are boats unless she tells you. Emily prefers to draw (and do everything else) shirtless.
Kate is more of a scribbler at this stage, and her favorite medium is pen on paper. She recently got a new swimsuit, and (oddly) she likes to wear it during art activities. As mentioned before in the blog, most of the time we let Kate wear whatever she wants, unless it's too cold or too ridiculous. We think the swimsuit is acceptable.
