Yesterday we finally went out to get our Christmas tree. Grandma and Grandpa L. went with us too. The temperature was only 5 degrees, so we had to bundle up.
We bought our tree from Robert, who had a stand set up at our local grocery store's parking lot. He is from Whitefield, and after chatting a little bit we found out that he went to the same high school as Chris!
The girls charmed Robert so much that he threw in a wreath and candy canes for free.
We loaded the tree into Grandma and Grandpa's new pickup truck. They just bought it last week.
Kate's favorite part of the whole adventure was the candy cane (of course). In the picture below she is eating one, and has another one hooked on her coat for later.
