This morning we took the girls to a holiday concert performed by the kids at the preschool that Emily will start going to in January. It was only 10 degrees today, so we had to bundle the girls up in their puffs.
The concert was fun--the kids played tin whistles and sang some holiday songs. We were amazed that it only took 5 or 6 adults to get all these preschool kids lined up on stage!
Emily seemed to be a little down. She clapped after the songs, but still something seemed wrong...
It turns out that she was getting sick. After the concert, she slept on the couch for most of the rest of the day.
Her fever went over 102, so we took her to the doctor to rule out an ear infection. It looks like she just has a bug, and they prescribed lots of fluids and rest. It looks like we might be skipping gymnastics tomorrow....
