Library Night

Tonight was a library night, because some of our books were due. We put on the puffs and headed over to the 'ol skating rink.

They have a new display by the front door--it's a Christmas Village now instead of trains. The girls liked the trains better, but they do think the tiny skaters in the village are pretty neat.There was some new stuff in the kids' area....holiday books on display and some new puzzles. The girls had to go through everything.Kate has recently discovered magazines...this one is National Geographic Kids, but she also likes "Highlights". This warms Brenda's heart, because she used to subscribe to Highlights, many many many years ago....Tonight Emily found out that one of the computers has the Cat in the Hat loaded on it. Fun!Meanwhile, Kate was busy deleting all the files off of the library catalog computer.Sometimes the girls climb up the big carpeted stairs and stand up top, just so they can see throughout the whole library. Emily thought it might be nice to take a nap on the top stair, and mom agreed--that would be nice!
