Emily has been attending the summer program at her preschool, and today was a very special day: Bike Day!
All the kids brought their bikes (or trikes) to school and got to ride them around the parking lot.
Bike Day is quite a hit with the students, as you can imagine.
Emily has gotten dramatically better at pedaling her trike lately. She is definitely ready for a "big girl" bike (with training wheels), but since it's so late in the summer, we'll probably wait until next year to get her one.
What a great idea! That's good to know that Emily can ride her Kett.ler trike. I was wondering what age Teo would be able to. He's a bit small for his age, though, so it might be a while.
ReplyDeleteShe's been coasting on it for quite a while, but couldn't figure out the pedaling until very recently (maybe seeing all the other kids pedaling helped?). Right now Emily's absolute favorite activity is to ride her trike around the driveway while Mama slowly rides her bike too...it's pretty cute.
