Tonight Nana and Sebastian stopped by for dinner, and they brought some new clothes for the girls to try on. There are some great deals to be had right now with the back-to-school sales going on.
Kate loves to try on clothes.
Emily doesn't like to try on clothes as much (just like her Mama!), but she put up with it....sort of.
Nana got each girl a pretty new dress....Kate couldn't wait to stand on a chair and admire herself in the hallway mirror.
Emily liked her dress too, but she really liked her new green "Lightning McQueen" shirt that was underneath. Thank you for the new clothes Nana!
After the fashion show we headed over to our friend Tina's house to pick up an art desk that her kids have grown out of. Her son Jack is in Emily's preschool class.
While we were there Tina decided that she wanted to give more old toys away. It was a bonanza!
Our kids got some great "Cars" toys, some DVD's, and this cool shopping cart that Kate instantly fell in love with.
As a bonus, Jack's big brother Kent showed Emily how to shoot a nerf gun. Thanks Kent!
The girls were very excited about the new toys and thankful that Tina didn't decide to have a garage sale instead!
The kids didn't want to go to bed tonight because they were way too busy playing with their new toys and desk.
