Yesterday after the big Thomas adventure we spent the rest of the day at Nana's house. She had Uncles David and Seth over, and the cousins too! They were all swimming at the lake when we got there.
The water was really warm, so we didn't waste any time jumping right in.
Mom and Mama tried to swim across the lake (okay, not really).
Kate didn't really want to get too wet, but she liked wading in and holding Uncle Seth's hand.
Emily thought the cousins' floaty toys were fantastic! She borrowed Alana's tube and tried it out.
The kids had a lot of fun splashing around.
Kate got a little cold and had to be warmed up in Mama's arms.
All the kids had fun playing with Nana's water toys.
It sure is nice to spend time with family at the lake. This summer has been so rainy that these kinds of days have been few and far between.
