The girls are thrilled that we're back home, but they were even more thrilled this morning when Mama let them open a package that had arrived in the mail.
They have been pretty obsessed with Scooby Doo ever since our trip to PEI, so they were super excited to see the Scooby Doo action figures.
There were immediate and ongoing negotiations over who got to play with which figure. Surprisingly, Shaggy was usually the odd man out, while Velma and Scooby (of course) were the most coveted.
We have noticed that Kate, through pure stubborness, often gets exactly what she wants in the end.
There was even more playing with the action figures after Mom got home. They got put down for a nap....
....had stories read to them....
....had dinner in the dollhouse....
...and they even got a bath!
It's safe to say that the Scooby Doo action figures are a big hit.
